I have been reading a lot about introvertedness by an author who has studied it for a long time. Being an introvert can be very troubling until you start to understand it. At this point in my life I feel blessed to have been born an introvert. I enjoy being a person who prefers solitude and alone time over social gatherings, reading and writing over activities and events, thinking deeply and reflectively over spontaneous chatter (not that I can't chatter at times - lol). I am extremely comfortable in my own skin and temperament. Introverts are thinkers above all. They keep to themselves and they really don't need to be around people like extroverts do.
I wish I would have learned a lot of what I know now much longer ago than I did. I was confused and miserable for a long time and not comfortable in my own skin. I hope to help other introverts settle into who they are rather than fight it.
